Gorgeous Day in the Neighborhood

Stopping to smell the roses. I decided to go for a jog and get those endorphin in to my system. I took a few pictures of the beautiful flowers from my walk from the morning. Let me know what you guys think!

I found an old poem about Beauty.

Kittens: Cuteness Overload

Have you ever had that feeling where you're just overwhelmed and stuck between a rock and a hard place? Sometimes at stressful situations, all you can do is just let out a heavy sigh. One of my routines for de-stressing was looking at cute animal pictures! Well, I guess I lucked out because my family adopted two kittens! They are such a bundle of joy and fluff balls of cuteness. It's just overwhelming. I completely forget my stress when I'm around them. I took out a camera and took some pictures because they are just too cute to not share.

Growing up in a household with pets actually can help lower your risk of getting allergies and asthma! Web MD says that heart attack patients who have pets live longer than those without.

Fall Chicken

Running out of time because I am dying of hunger. I threw together some chicken, plum wine, garlic, tomatoes, grapes and pasta. I don't think you can ever go wrong with pasta and olive oil. I was proud since it only took me 20 minutes and you do not need to marinate anything.  The colors are very similar to the browns and reds of fall! A reminder of seasons to come. Also a special thanks to my lady  followers for reading!

Spent a total of 20 minutes putting this dish together.
I used the organic multi-grain noodles, tomatoes, and champagne grapes all from Trader Joe's. It's incredibly easy to put together. In a skillet, add your olive oil and some garlic. Wait until garlic turns a tid brown and add your chicken. While your chicken is sizzling, add some wine and balsamic vinegar. I used plum wine, so it had a sweetness that is already infused and did not need to add extra sugar. I like to crisp the skin side first then flip the chicken over. It should take you about fifteen minutes depending on how big the chicken pieces are. I always like to check by cutting open the chicken. If it is still raw on the inside, I place it in the microwave to finish up the cooking process. Finally, I boiled up the noodles and drained it. I sauteed it inside the sauce left over from the skillet I used to cook the chicken for added flavor and topped it off with some garlic salt. Added some tomatoes, and grapes with a hint of spice from peppers and cilantro I had laying around to compliment the vinegar. The grapes really do make it special and unique. Try this out and let me know what you think.

Markets, food, and trinkets: A cultural immersion in Richmond, Canada

Took a trip around the night market. We went there early about thirty minutes before opening so that we could find parking. The trick with parking at the Richmond Night Market is to park outside of the entrance to avoid the long line of cars. I had a great time. There was tons of goodies from clothes, cell phone cases, movies and of course yummy foods. If you want to save some money go later about an hour before closing and food gets really cheap. For now here's a look at some yummy treats I had.
